Special to the Booster

OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University softball program is pleased to announce the signing of Mallory Dunn for the 2024-25 season.

Dunn is currently a senior at Woodville High School.

Dunn lettered in softball and cheer at Woodville High School. She was an All-District 22AAA Honorable Mention selection, twice was named All-District 22AAA First Team, and was an All-District Academic All-Star.

“We are excited to have Mallory join our Braves Softball Family, said OU Associate Head Coach Maile Deutsch. “Her personality and work ethic will drive not only her, but her teammates to be the best they can be.

Mallory will help raise the level of play defensively for our program. She is a fundamentally strong player who is a threat offensively, defensively, and on the base paths. We are excited to see her continue to develop as a player, and we are hopeful she can become a leader in our infield. We look forward to getting her in the Black and Gold this fall.”

Dunn is the daughter of Becky Dunn and plans to major in nursing. She played travel ball for the Texas Strike Force for coach Suzon Martin.
