Bulldog's varsity team places in tourney

The Colmesneil Bulldog varsity team took a third-place finish last weekend in the Hull-Daisetta tournament. The Dogs beat Baytown Christian Academy 62-47, and took on the host Bobcats, losing 49-59. The Dogs fell only a few points short of the championship title. They play Woden at Woden High School on Friday with a 7 p.m. tip-off. COURTESY PHOTO
