A tough Woodville Eagles offense, along with costly mistakes by the hosting Shepherd Pirates earned the Eagles a 42-14 victory last Friday night. The Pirates fell short, due to fumbles, on a couple of scoring opportunities, resulting in touchdowns for the Eagles, early on. The Eagles, who now sport a 1-1 district record for the season, and a 3-3 overall, host another team from San Jacinto County, the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans on Friday night at Eagle Stadium.
