Eagles headed to area round

The Woodville Eagles advanced to the area round of the playoffs after a 5-0 shutout against Anahuac last week for the bi-district title. The Eagles play the Boling Bulldogs in a two-game series in Navasota on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Friday at 7 p.m.

A third game is scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m., if necessary. Navasota High School is located at 1 Rattler Drive in Navasota. Admission to the game is $5 for adults and $3 for students. TGCA, THSCA, senior citizen and district passes are all accepted.

Woodville will be the visiting team on Thursday and the home team on Friday.
