The Tyler County Art League judge selected the photo by Karen Turnbo of Lumberton as the Big Woods Nature Trail 2023 Photo-of-the-Year. Karen shared that she took the photo while enjoying a fund day with her daughters and grandson. She is looking forward to returning to the Pickett House with her appetite and to the trail with her camera. All who walk the Big Woods Nature Trail at Heritage Village are encouraged to submit photos to the email address stated on the kiosk. A winning photo is selected each month. The monthly winners are then submitted to the Photo-of-the-Year contest.
