WARREN – Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford has reported that a Warren woman suspected of burglarizing vehicles is in custody.

Twenty-year-old McKenzie Claire Calnon was located and identified on Tuesday, June 13, when deputies were patrolling in the Warren area. The deputies, according to Weatherford, had been dispatched to a residence located along County Road 4810 on a report of burlgarlized vehicles.

“Multiple items, including firearms and medication, had been stolen,” Weatherford said.

Calnon, when located and questioned, confessed to the burglaries and was also found to be in possession of medication belonging to the complainant.

Weatherford said the deputies were able to recover all of the stolen property, including the firearms.

Calnon was taken into custody, and booked into the Tyler County Jail. She was charged with three counts of burglary of a vehicle; two counts of theft of firearm, and Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Mike Hughes set her bond at $35,000.
