Seven Trinity Tiger powerlifters made it to the 3A Region 3 Small Regional Meet at Arp High School on Friday, and Cole Odom will journey on to the state meet in Abilene on March 22.

In all, 131 young men participated in the meet, and Odom finished 14th; and he placed second in his weight class. He also was named the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Region 3 Outstanding Squatter Heavy Platform Lifter for Division 3.

As a team, the Tigers places 6th.
