Lady Indians take the gold

The Groveton Lady Indians cross country team claimed a first-place finish in the Bulldog Invitation on Saturday.

The team was led by Jannett Bautista, who claimed the gold individually.

The boys came in third in the event. Additionally, the Trinity Tigers boys cross country runners posted a third-place finish in the Elkhart Invitational.
