The Apple Springs Eagles downed Chester 42-38 on Friday.
The win puts the team’s overall record at 3-3.
On offense, quarterback Dakota Campbell went 12-16 in the air for 155 yards and 3 TDs, tossing to Zeth Dugat, who caught 5 of 7 for 71 yards and a TD, and Connor Kaufman two passes for 36 yards and 2 TDs.
On the ground, Dugat ran 10 times for 81 yards and 2 TDs; Hunter Davis had 8 carries for 53 yards and 2 TDs; and Dakota Campbell had 6 carries for 84 yards.
On defense, Connor Kaufman had 9 tackles; Noah Thompson had 9 tackles; Bradyn Kaufman had 9 tackles; Andrew Pion had 8 tackles and 1 interception; and Ethan Randell had 7 tackles and 1 interception.
