TRINITY COUNTY —Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a non-injury crash on U.S. Highway 287, near state Highway 94, that occurred Oct. 11.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 8 a.m., a 2020 Mack truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling east on U.S. 287. It is reported that the driver was traveling at a speed which was unsafe as he took the exit ramp to merge onto S.H. 94, causing the truck tractor and semi-trailer to overturn on its left side.
The driver, 57-year-old Russell Maddox of Diboll, was not injured.
