GOODRICH — The Lady Pirates dominated Corrigan 52-10 during the Consolation Round at the Goodrich Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament on Saturday.

To get to the final, both teams lost their first round during the tournament, but continued through the Classic with all wins.

The Pirates held the Dogs to zero points during the first quarter of play while the Pirates rang up 15, with Adayla Nelson posted 2 3-pointers, while Jaz Richardson posted 5 points. Dakiyah Clark put 4 points on the scoreboard.

In the second quarter the Lady Pirates hit 9 points, and in the third and fourth quarters rang up 15 and 13. Ashley Patterson had 2 points, Kiona King had 7 points, Richardson posted 5 points, Angeline Garland had 2 points, Clark posted 9 points, and Mckayden Nelson led the team with 13 points and posting 3 treys for the night.

Tiana Clark had 5 points and Maraya Davis had 6.

It was a battle of Lady Pirates of Shepherd on Friday, with Shepherd downing Spurger; on Thursday, the Lady Pirates fell to Hardin 53-30.
