Coldspring wins county match-up

COLDSPRING — The Lady Trojans put a stop to The Lady Pirates on Friday 3-0 in a district tilt.
On Sept. 12, Shepherd pushed a fifth game against the Trinity Lady Tigers on Tuesday evening, and while the team improved, the Tigers won 3-2.
Scores in the match were 17-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-23 and 10-15.
The tiebreaker set started with the teams swapping the lead several times. During a 10-10 tie the Lady Tigers managed a great set of serves and win the series 3 -2.
The Lady Pirates have started district play and are down 0-2.
Also on Sept. 12, the Coldspring Lady Trojans lost to Anderson-Shiro 3-1.
Scores in the match were 22-25, 15-25, 25-20 and 12-25.
