Lots of chamber of commerce activities on the horizon

A full slate of activities is on the horizon for the Livingston-Polk County Chamber of Commerce, its members and any prospective new members.

“The Culture Code: Unlocking the Secret to Our Success” will be presented by Crystal Williams and Emily Fleniken during Lunch and Learn hosted by chamber at noon on Aug. 22 at the chamber office located at 1001 Hwy. 59 Loop North in Livingston. Lunch will be provided.

Eastex Real Estate Brokerage Co. LLC, located at 1202 w. Church St., will host Business After Hours for the chamber at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 24. In addition to the opportunity for networking, there will also be refreshments and door prizes and a $350 jackpot.

Chamber 101 is a free presentation that will be hosted by the chamber at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 29 at the chamber office located at 1001 Hwy. 59 Loop North in Livingston. This is an opportunity to get to know the chamber by becoming aware of the benefits and marketing opportunities that chamber membership provides. Marketing and visibility will be discussed, as well as benefactors and sponsorships, chamber opportunities and online membership tools. A complimentary lunch will be included.

The chamber will host Power Hour, a networking event from 8-9 a.m. Sept 6 at Chick-fil-A in Livingston. This event on the first Wednesday of each month provides an opportunity to connect, engage and network.

Hold’em in the Pines Poker Tournament will be hosted by the Livingston-Polk County Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 23. More information will be forthcoming.
