The Onalaska City Council approved a resolution designating Mayor James W. Arnett to serve on the Board of Directors of the Deep East Texas Council of Governments during a special called meeting Monday.
Council also approved the employment of Jamee Davis as a fulltime police officer with the standard probationary period.
The next regular meeting of the Onalaska City Council is slated for July 11.
