Five arrested in Indian Springs

Five Polk County residents have been jailed after one evaded law enforcement on a four-wheeler. 

On Wednesday, Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives were conducting traffic enforcement in the Indian Springs Subdivision of Polk County, where they encountered a male subject on a four-wheeler. After the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the subject fled.

The four-wheeler was later found at a nearby residence, where detectives received information in regards to the identity of the occupants. The occupants, who were not onscene, were quickly identified as Cody Lamar White and Kaylee Collier, both of Indian Springs.

White was known by the Sheriff’s Office to have an active felony possession of methamphetamine warrant. Additional units from the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Division soon joined in the search and subsequently located both White and Collier, hiding inside a travel trailer, also located in the area of Indian Springs.

As a result of this investigation, a search warrant was obtained and multiple arrests were made.

Jonathan Tyler Zuellig, 27, of Livingston, was charged with expired plates, no drivers license, no insurance and an unsecured child less than one year old (not in car seat).

Collier, 23, of Livingston, was charged with hindering apprehension of a known felon and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

White, 28, of Livingston, has charges of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of body armor by a felon, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and an outstanding warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

Brian Keith Lafferty, 55, of Livingston, was picked up on three outstanding warrants.

Eric Jasper Scroggins, 41, of Livingston, had seven outstanding warrants.
