Three from Houston arrested in Indian Springs

On Tuesday, Polk County Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives were conducting traffic enforcement in the Indian Springs Subdivision of Polk County, due to numerous complaints from citizens/residents.

A traffic stop was initiated on a passenger vehicle for an equipment violation. Following the stop, narcotics detectives located methamphetamine and items consistent with the sale of methamphetamine in the driver’s possession.

Two other occupants in the vehicle were also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, consistent with user quantities. All three subjects were arrested and transported to the Polk County Jail, where they were booked without incident.

Glenn Ray Womack Jr., 33, of Houston, was charged with manufacture/deliverey of a controlled substance. Arrested for possesseion of a controlled substance was Carrie Thomas, 46, of Houston. Tony Dwayne Roberts, 47, of Houston, was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and had a felony drug warrant out of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
