An Onalaska woman was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary of a habitation after she was caught on video two weeks ago.

On Jan. 19, Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of State Highway 146 South in reference to two burglaries that had occurred in the area.

The suspect was observed on video doorbell camera at one of the residences that was burglarized. Polk County dispatch later received a suspicious persons call from a local resident in the same area, advising that a female matching the description of the burglary suspect was on their property.

The female was located and identified as Kelly Sexton, 31, of Onalaska. Sexton also held an active warrant out of the Onalaska Police Department. Sexton was placed under arrest for her active warrant and deputies located several items on her person belonging to both burglary victims.
