A vehicle stolen from a residence off of Tom Cummings Road in the early morning hours of Jan. 27 was located and recovered later that day and returned to its owner.

Jonathon Forbus, 17 of Livingston, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked into the Polk County Jail with a $10,000 bond and bonded out on Jan. 28.

The Livingston Police Department assisted the Polk County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation and recovery.

Narcotics detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office conducted a narcotics operation in the Triple Creek Loop area of Polk County recently. The operation targeted the sale of narcotics, leading to the arrest of three individuals for methamphetamine-related charges.

Logan McClure, 29 of Livingston, was arrested on a felony warrant for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. Jason Long, 39 of Livingston, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Ransom Davis, 45 of Livingston, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigations Division assisted with the operation.
