The Big Sandy softball season has ended after West Sabine took two games from the Lady Wildcats.

Big Sandy fought hard in an 8-7 contest Thursday night, where they had the lead on three different occasions. Coach Mark Young said his team played about as good as it could, but did not hit well.
Offense was a problem Friday night, as the team would be blanked 15-0.
The Lady Cats lose just one senior to graduation. Pitcher and offensive spark Anastasia Chitty will be missed, but the remainder should benefit from another year of playing experience in 2025.
