The Livingston-Polk County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its second annual Business Bitez Expo slated for May 7 at the Polk County Commerce Center. The theme this year is “Global Feast” and food from all over will be served.
Contact the chamber office at 936-327-4929 to reserve a booth. Tickets are available for $10 per person for food, giveaways and prizes. A trip will be given away this year.
The chamber’s next Business After Hours is scheduled for 5:30 April 25 at Sassy Soul & Our Space located at 111 Hwy. 59 Loop South in Livingston. Owned by Kelsi Babb Boyd and Sharon Babb Hicks, there will be networking, refreshments and door prizes.
The chamber has two upcoming ribbon cuttings on the calendar. One is for Fields Paint Contracting. It will be held at 10:30 a.m. April 23 at the chamber office located at 1001 Hwy. 59 Loop North in Livingston. The second one is for Precise Urgent Care and will be held at 10:30 a.m. April 24 at 1501 W. Church St., Ste. 800 in Livingston.

These occasions are not only an opportunity to celebrate the growth and success of our business community but also a chance to forge new connections and strengthen existing relationships,” Chamber President and CEO Yvonne L. King said.
