The Yellowjacket football team ended their season this past week when they met up with Jonesboro for the Area round of the playoffs.
Jonesboro won the coin toss and decided to kick to the Jackets to start the game. Jaxon Gay received the kick but was quickly stopped by six Eagles.
The game continued like this for most of the night. The Eagles were a very quick and aggressive team, unlike anyone the Jackets have faced this season.
Ultimately the game ended by mercy rule at halftime with a score of 0-63. All-District awards will be announced next week.
