Warren ISD announced last week the hiring of Coach James Cammack.
Cammack will join the Tribe’s ranks as the Warriors’ new assistant head football coach and offensive line coach, beginning the fall 2023 semester.
Cammack joins athletic director/head coach Austin Smithey in continuing to build a football program that showed some of its most promising results in years during its fall 2022 season, with a 4-6 overall record and two district wins.
In addition to his coaching duties, Cammack will teach history. Cammack joins the Tribe from Conroe ISD, where he was the offensive line coordinator for Caney Creek High School.
Cammack has experience coaching at several high schools, as well as at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Cammack comes to Tyler County with his wife Stephanie and children Cael, Ty and Case.
