Tyler County is going to be full of yuletide festivities this weekend as the countywide “Christmas in Tyler County” celebration kicks off.
On Friday and Saturday, the Tyler County Chamber of Commerce sponsors a variety of events downtown, including the Mistletoe Market on the square, and the annual lighting up of the town square and courthouse lawn, which occurs on Friday evening, 5 p.m.- 9 p.m.. Be sure to get your youngsters over to the Wheat House to see jolly ole Saint Nick.
Saturday morning will have the Woodville Rotary Club hosting its annual Breakfast with Santa event at the St. Paul’s fellowship hall starting at 7:30 a.m., and there will be a Jolly Jeep Jingle car show on the square beginning at 11 a.m. That evening, Heritage Village will host its annual Twilight Tour, beginning at 5 p.m., and at 6 p.m., the Ivanhoe lighted boat parade will commence.
