WOODVILLE – The time for the Rotary Club of Woodville’s annual gumbo fundraiser is fast approaching, with the date set for Friday, Oct. 28. This year, it has moved back to the Fire Station on Walt Davis Drive, and diners have a choice of chicken/sausage gumbo or hamburgers and fries. The meal will be served from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

You can eat there or take it home, and tickets are $10, and are available at Sullivan’s and the Tyler County Booster or can be purchased at the event.

In addition to the gumbo, the LifeShare bus will be parked across from Dollar General for a blood drive. Contact Joyce Wilson at 409-429-4374 if you are interested in donating. The bus will be there from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
