TRINITY — The Tigers claimed second place at its own powerlifting meet on Saturday.

First place went to Huntsville, while the Groveton Indians came in sixth.

Meanwhile, the Lady Tigers came in third, while the Lady Indians came in sixth at the meet.

For Trinity, Wyatt Bennett, Cole Odom and Hayden Taylor claimed first-place medals in their respective weight classes on the boys side, while Joshlyn Madera claimed a first-place medal for the girls.

For Groveton, Tyler Allen claimed first-place honors.
