TRINITY — The Trinity Lady Tigers downed Central Heights 3-1 on Monday.
The first goal was scored within 30 seconds by LaResa Green, who also kicked in the second.
Alexa Ruiz scored the third goal from the 20-yard line on a free kick.
The Lady Tigers went 2-2 during the Grand Saline tournament, downing New Summerfield and Corrigan-Camden each with a score of 1-0. Yesica Lopez scored the lone goal.
Trinity’s Destinee Simmons, Yesica Lopez and LaResa Green were awarded players of the tournament.
On Day 1 of the tournament, goals were made by Yesi Lopez, Resi Green, and Vanessa Acosta.
