CORPUS CHRISTI — Trinity’s Kailyn Fisher took another first at State in powerlifting, outlifting the closest competitor by 17 pounds and setting three state records.

Her classmate, Deandra Mills, placed third in the 105-pound weight class with a combined weight lifted of 605 pounds.

KK’s squatted with a record 565 pounds, and benched a record 325 during the meet. Her total of 1,345 pounds also set a state record in the 259-plus class.

With only two competitors, Trinity placed eighth out of 63 teams.
