Julias TidbitsI understand the Trinity Community Fair Association’s Crawfish Boil was a huge success and everyone had a great time. The music was good, and the weather was perfect. I did not go this year.

Each year I buy a table and eat potatoes and corn for $400 which is for a good cause, the Trinity Fair Associations Scholarship Fund for 4-H members, but the old knees with so many weather inconsistencies were acting up, so I stayed home preparing for Mothers’ Day.

Sunday was Mother’s Day, and I had a wonderful day hearing from my children, eating and playing games. My friend and I saw a lot of Trinity natives at the establishment on Highway 190 East just past Livingston, and we missed the rain coming and going. We were not lucky this time, but the Sunday brunch was good. So, until Father’s Day we will wait for our luck to change.
