APPLE SPRINGS — The Apple Springs School Board approved changes to the benefits offered to the staff during its Thursday meeting.

Superintendent Cody Moree said that the board approved raising the level oflife insurance offered to the staff from $30,000 to $40,000.

Additionally, the board OK’d offering a supplemental insurance policy to provide for air and ground medical transportation, such as ambulance and helicopter.

Moree also said that a report from the Counselor’s Office dealt with scholarships students will receive, state-mandated testing results and scheduling for next year.

The scholarships will be handed out at 6 p.m. Thursday at the school’s Night of Excellence, which will be held at the school cafeteria.

Graduation will be held at 8 p.m. May 26 at the school gym.
