Groveton FFA students attended Area 9 Convention recently on the campus of SFA, picking up several awards and accolades.

Nathan and Riley represented Groveton FFA and Sam Houston District in the talent portion of the convention, placing fifth. In addition, Tabytha, Kiley, Abby, Landree, Tanner, Brody, and Logan all had Lone Star degrees that have advanced to state.
Reed participated in Production and will represent Area 9 at the state degree check this summer. He is one of the top 12 students involved in production agriculture in the state. In addition, Reed also had two proficiency awards, Beef Production-Entrepreneurship and Diversified Livestock Production- Entrepreneurship, both of which first place at area and will also advance to the state degree check this summer.
