DETCOG comes to Groveton

LUFKIN — Deep East Texas Council of Governments Board of Directors will hold their regular monthly meeting Thursday, Aug. 25, in the Trinity County Annex at 223 W. First St. in Groveton. A luncheon will be served at noon, and the board meeting will be held immediately following lunch.
Welcoming members and guests to Trinity County will be Trinity County Judge Doug Page, Groveton Mayor Tommy Walton and Trinity County commissioners Tommy Park, Michael Loftin, Neal Smith and Steven Truss along with Trinity County Minority Representative Ralph Bennett.
DETCOG’s president, Shelby County Judge Allison Harbison, would like to extend an invitation to the meeting to all interested parties.
