COLDSPRING — The Lady Trojans downed the Onalaska Lady Tigers 16-1 on Friday after handing the team an 18-3 loss on April 11.
Coldspring managed to get the scoring started early and often on Friday, and Ashney Minor shut down the Lady Tigers offense on the mound with seven strikeouts.

Shae Price had the big bat, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs.

On April 11, Minor allowed no hits, one run and struck out three in her two innings on the mound, while Rosales struck out four and allowed two hits.
Olivia Moreno went 4-for-5, including a triple, at the plate, driving in three runs to lead the offense. Olivia Lee went 2-for-2 with two doubles and 2 RBIs, and Minor went 1-for-3 with three RBIs.

Shepherd
The Lady Pirate were dominant in district play, downing Crockett 16-1 on April 11 and blanking Anderson-Shiro 5-0 on April 10.

Coldspring
The Trojans did not have the luck of the softball team, losing two to Onalaska — 3-1 on Friday and 4-3 on April 11.

Luke Monroe started off strong on the mound on Friday, punching out 3 and leaving 2 stranded in the first, and went 3 up 3 down in the second, but in the 3rd inning the Tigers got the timing and popped on over the left field fence.

The Tigers posted two more runs in the game while holding the Trojans to one.

The Pirates swept Crockett in two games last week, winning 12-2 on Friday and 11-1 on April 11.
