COLDSPRING — While the Lady Trojans showed a tremendous amount of improvement and almost took the game, two points were the difference and Onalaska went away with a 3-2 win on Sept. 20.

The first two games went to Onalaska with a score of 25-20, and 25-18, but the next two were a different game for the Lady Trojans, who downed the Lady Cats 25-19 and 25-17.

During the fourth game the lead changed many times, starting at a score of 7-7, then 13-13 and again at 21-21. The Trojans managed to topple the Cats in the last few score with a couple of great serves.

The teams were tied in the fifth game at 15, but the Cats had two great serves that set the win and the district game back to Onalaska.

On Friday, the Lady Trojans fell to New Waverly 3-1, with scores of 23-25, 18-25, 26-24 and 9-25.
