Livingston tennis traveled to the Baytown area Friday to participate in the Barbers Hill varsity tennis tournament. Matches were played at Barbers Hill, Goose Creek, and Baytown Sterling High Schools. A total of 16 schools fought for medals, with most from Class 5A and 6A. The doubles team of Gavin McFarlain and Jack New dropped only one contest on the day, winning the consolation bracket. Lion Tennis players earned several hard-fought victories in a challenging tournament.

Brandon Munson finished second place Thursday at the Barbers Hill JV tournament. Livingston was the only Class 4A school in attendance against larger schools. The Lions also came away with several other wins on the day.
