Approximately 125 people attended the Casino Night benefiting SAAFE House that was held Saturday. This was the first fundraiser SAAFE House has held in six years and approximately $23,000 was raised. Event planners said they plan to make it an annual event. All funds raised will stay in Polk County for the clients and the shelter. SAAFE (Sexual Assault and Abuse-Free Environment) House offers services to shelter and support victims of family violence. For additional information, visit the website at www.saafehouse.org.
