Chili cookoff planned for Feb. 25

“Chili for Charity,” sponsored by Naskila Gaming, is a chili cookoff competition scheduled for Feb. 25 to raise funds for SAFFE House. There will be four categories – traditional, Texas, green/verde and salsa.
The chili cookoff fundraiser will be held at the Polk County Commerce Center and will include vendors, chili tastings and a silent auction. The winner of each category will receive a cash prize in addition to entry in the amateur division of the International Chili Society’s World Championship.
