City hosts successful cleanup, plans two more

This group of students from Goodrich ISD recently helped collect over 100 bags of trash and debris during the annual Come Clean Lake Livingston event hosted by the Livingston-Polk County Chamber of Commerce. The chamber, along with students, groups, businesses, families and individuals have been coming together for over 10 years to pick up trash around the shoreline of Lake Livingston. “Without our sponsors and participants this event would not be possible,” Chamber President/CEO Yvonne King said.
