Seasonal activities abound

There are a number of fall festivals, trunk or treats and Halloween-related activities available for children young and old. Just take your pick.

•First Baptist Church of Livingston will host a Fall Festival from 6-8 p.m. today (Sunday) at 106 Colt Rd. There will be food, inflatables, games, hayrides and lots of candy.

•Exceptional Emergency Center at 111 Emergency Dr. in Livingston will host its 9th annual Trunk or Treat Halloween Drive-Thru from 5-8 p.m. on Monday and will be handing out candy to all the trick or treaters that stop by.

•First Assembly of God will host its 29th annual Hallelujah Harvest from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday at 2025 N. Washington Ave. It is a free family event with games for all ages. There will be a drama/skit, train ride, cotton candy, snow cones, elote, hot dogs, Cokes, hot chocolate, a fire truck, an ambulance and lots of candy.

•Central Baptist Church will host Trunk or Treat from 6-8 p.m. Monday at 503 N. East Ave. in Livingston. There will be free family fun with candy, games and bounce houses.

•Cedar Grove Elementary School PTO is hosting a Fall Fest from 5-7 p.m. Thursday on the grounds out front. Come join the community wide event where there will be carnival games, food and drinks, face painting, a bean bag toss, bounce houses, a cupcake walk, a silent auction and more. Tickets for the games are 50 cents each. All proceeds will benefit the Cedar Grove PTO. Cedar Grove Elementary School is located at 819 W. Church St. in Livingston.

•Trunk or Treat Monday, Oct. 31st 5-7 p.m. First Methodist Church of Goodrich located at 1229 Hwy Loop 393, Goodrich. There will be a drawing for two bikes.

•Halloween Candy & Wine Pairing at Tempe Creek Vineyard on Oct 30 at 4 p.m. This will be a sweet and fun pairing! We will show you ways to use your kids’ Halloween candy after you steal it! Nothing gourmet about this. You will receive four 2oz pours and six types of candy. Tempe Creek Vineyard is at 307 Dickens Ranch Rd, Livingston, TX
