Funeral services for Erlinda Martinez Salas, 77, of Goodrich, Texas will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Miguel Angel Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Erlinda was born August 27, 1947, in McCamey, Texas and passed away September 22, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Olivas Martinez and Rita Costello; husband, Francisco Salas Sr.; son, Gilbert Cardona; brother, Joel Martinez; and sister, Elodia Carrillo.
She is survived by her companion, Gregorio Ramirez; daughter, Grace Gamboa of Goodrich, Texas; stepsons, Francisco Salas, Jr. and wife Anna of Cleveland, Texas, and Lee Salas and wife Minh Lenguyen of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Sandra Martinez and husband Domingo Martinez of Katy, Texas, Ivy Galvez and husband Louis G. Galvez of Livingston, Texas, Eduardo Zamorano Jr. and wife Jaqueline Zamorano of New Caney, Texas, Rey Anthony Garcia, Adrian Gamboa, Abel Gamboa, Carol Cardona, Cassandra Gracian, Gilbert Cardona Jr., Sarah Cardona, Andrew Salas, Selena Salas, Brandon Lee Salas and Kaitlyn Salas; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Gilberto Lujan Martinez and fiancé Sylvia Scott from San Angelo, Texas; and sister Rosa Heredia from Odessa, Texas along with numerous other relatives and friends.
