Visitation was held 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville with Rosary to be 6:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Funeral services were 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Woodville with Father Jim Ahern, Deacon David Luther and James Broussard officiating. Burial will follow at Colmesneil Cemetery in Colmesneil. Serving as pallbearers were James Broussard, Kyle Broussard, Dekotah Christian, John Horton, B.J. Glaze and John Paul Phillips. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer was Justin Horton.

Theresa was born January 16, 1951 to Murphy Pinder and Patricia Spillers Pinder. She married the Love of Her Life, Ray Broussard, on March 3, 1970 and they were married 54 years at the time of her death. Theresa worked for many years as a clerk at Davis Grocery in Colmesneil and as a legal clerk with the Zelesky Law Firm in Lufkin. She enjoyed shopping and traveling with Ray in their motorhome and watching her grand and great grands play sports. She was strong willed, but caring, loving and generous.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Pat Pinder and her brother, Dale Pinder.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Raymond Broussard of Colmesneil; son, Dewayne Broussard and wife Cathy of Fannett, Texas; daughters, Tammie Christian of Colmesneil and Terri Horton and husband John of Livingston; brother, Greg Bennett and wife Shannon of Crockett, Texas; sister, Roxanne Shumate and husband Shawn of Anahuac, Texas; seven grandchildren, Tye, Dekotah, Shelby, Lynzie, Kyle, Samantha and Justin and nine great-grandchildren, Michaella, Brayden, Hannah, Jaxon, Jordan, James, Lyla, Ivy and Emily. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
