Funeral services for Janice Lynn Townsend, 65, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Ginger Olivares officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from noon-2 p.m. before the service begins at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Brookside Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Townsend was born July 24, 1959 in Bellaire, Texas and passed away August 18, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jackie George Greenhaw and Wilma Joyce (Rush) Greenhaw; husband, Danny Townsend; sister, Jacklynn Caruso; and brother, Jeffrey Greenhaw.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Jones of Houston, Texas; daughter, Jessica Contreras and Anthony of Conroe, Texas; son, Daniel Townsend and Cristen of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Jana Garcia and Ricky of Houston, Texas; significant other, Jerry White; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay and Karen Greenhaw, Jerry and Jenifer Greenhaw, and Justin Greenhaw; special lifelong friend, Kathy Cross; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many special friends and bingo buddies at the American Legion; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
