Lovell to play in TGCA All-Star softball game

Lovelady's Scout Lovell is headed to the TGCA All-Star Game in July.Lovelady junior Scout Lovell was selected to play in the Texas Girls Coaches Association 1A-4A All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 12 in Arlington.

She was one of just three players from class 2A schools on the 14-member Blue Team roster. The team includes seven players from class 3A, threefrom 4A and one from 1A.

The 1A-4A Red/Blue Softball Game will be Tuesday, July 12 at 7 p.m. at Workman Softball Complex, 701 E Arbrook Blvd.

The All-Star Games are held in conjunction with the Texas Girls Coaches Association Summer Clinic July 11-14.

Lovell was recently named to the UIL Class 2A State All-Tournament team as a shortstop.
