Holy Week celebrated by local churches

Holy week, local churches join together to celebrate Holy Week, which represents the days leading up to the arrest, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

Services on Monday took place at Good Shepherd Fellowship Church, with the Community Bell Choir leading the opening of the service. Throughout the week First Presbyterian Church, First Christian Church, St. Francis Catholic Church, and First United Methodist Church will in turn host the daily celebrations which last from noon to approximately 1 with a meal served after each service.
