Armed suspect still at large

CROCKETT – As of May 2, the Crockett Police Department is still seeking information on a suspect who allegedly committed an armed robbery at the Xpress Truck Stop on Loop 304. The robbery occurred around 3:45 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, April 30. The suspect is described as a possible male and reportedly brandished a gun toward the cashier before taking cash from the register and grabbing cigarettes from the counter. 

The suspect was believed to have fled on foot in the direction of East Bowie Avenue.
