HunterEducation

Anyone born on or after Sept. 2, 1971 is required to complete a hunter education course to legally hunt in the state of Texas. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will offer three hunter education courses to the public. Students must be nine years or older and the cost is $15.

The three classes will be held in the following locations: 6-9:30 p.m. Aug. 7-8 (must attend both nights) at First Baptist Church located at 100 E. Pine Ave. in Coldspring; 6-9:30 p.m. Aug. 14-15 (must attend both nights) at First Baptist Church located at 106 Colt Road in Livingston; 6-9:30 p.m. Aug. 21-22 at Onalaska City Hall located at 373 FM 356 South in Onalaska.
