The Polk County Retired Teachers’ Association meets

The Polk County Retired Teachers’ Association met Sept. 5 and the guest speaker was Kristin Tow Walker, executive director of The Texas State University System Polk County Center. Walker gave a brief history of The Texas State University System, as well as the partnership between Livingston and Lamar State College Orange, Lamar State College Port Arthur, and Lamar Institute of Technology, which are known as the Lamar State Colleges.
