‘Jackets scrimmage Alpha

Yellowjacket football team hosted Alpha Omega for a scrimmage on Thursday August 15. This was a traditional scrimmage format with each team getting to practice a certain number of plays vs defense and then switching sides of the ball. They had a live portion of the scrimmage where they played one quarter of a game. The Jackets outscored Alpha Omega in the live quarter eight touchdowns to six. Kevron Green and Jesse Bittick each rushed for two touchdowns. Jaxon Gay had one interception on defense. Coach Butter and his team have been working tirelessly in the heat and are ready to see the fruits of their labor pay off. They will travel to Legacy Christian in Beaumont on Friday August 23 with kick off scheduled for 6 p.m.
