Rotary Update

Christi Sullivan, Communications Director for the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas, was the guest speaker at the Livingston Rotary Club’s meeting on Aug. 8. She updated the club about the tribe’s future projects, including the family-oriented casino resort facility with hotel accommodations and the expansion of the One-Stop. Plans also include an education center and judicial center as well as infrastructure improvements. The Alabama-Coushattas will have their second chief election in September.
