LUFKIN — The Deep East Texas Council of Governments Board of Directors will hold its regular monthly meeting Aug. 22 at Methodist Church Edward Carter Hall, 181 E. First St., in Groveton.
A luncheon will be served at noon, and the Board meeting will be held immediately following.
Welcoming members and guests to Trinity County will be Trinity County Judge Danny Martin and Trinity County Commissioners Tommy Park, Mike Loftin, Neal Smith, and Steven Truss.
DETCOG’s President, Polk County Minority Representative Brandon Prescott, would like to extend an invitation to the meeting to all interested parties. Anyone needing information concerning this event may contact the Deep East Texas Council of Governments office in Lufkin at (936) 634-2247.
