SAN JACINTO COUNTY —Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a crash on state Highway 105, near Magnolia Road, that occurred on July 12.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 6:30 a.m., a 2002 Ford F-150 was traveling east, while a 2004 Ford Expedition towing a trailer, a 2014 Ford F-350 towing a trailer, and a 2007 Ford F-150 were traveling west.
The report states the driver of the 2002 Ford F-150, 55-year-old Daryl Pogue of Channelview, traveled into the westbound lane, causing a multiple vehicle crash.
Pogue was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare in Kingwood for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the 2004 Ford Expedition, 50-year-old Pedro Hernandez-Cabrera of Cleveland, was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare in Kingwood for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the 2014 Ford F-350, 29-year-old Melvin Vallardares-Flores of Cleveland, and two passengers, a 19-year-old and a 14-year-old, were transported to HCA Houston Healthcare in Conroe for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the 2007 Ford F-150, identified as 28-year-old Cesar Carccamo-Maldonado of Cleveland, was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
